  • Credit Cards: The Chamber now accepts Visa and Mastercard for your membership investment and event sponsorship only. (You can now use credit cards to purchase Chamber gift certificates for a small processing fee.)
  • ChamberCare Health Insurance: Partnering with the Indiana Chamber and Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Batesville Area Chamber members can receive a 5% discount on group health insurance.
  • Discount Prescription Drug Program: Nolte's Pharmacy is partnering with the Chamber to offer a discount up to 40% off prescription drugs to member businesses that do not offer health insurance for their employees. The program is open to any employee working 20 + hours per week.
  • US Chamber of Commerce: The benefit to our members is that through your membership with the Batesville Area Chamber, you will be a member of the US Chamber. You will receive a membership number, access to uschamber.com, weekly email newsletter, and member discounts on products and services. (Coming Soon)
  • Identity Theft Shield: Guard Against Identity Theft Membership affords you: Credit Report, Personal Credit Score & Analysis, Continuous Credit Monitoring, and Identity Restoration.
  • Monthly Chamber Page in the Herald Tribune: The newspaper devotes an entire page to the Chamber on the second Saturday of the month. Chamber members can advertise on this page at reduced rates. This provides additional visibility for our member businesses and organizations.
  • Gift Certificate Program: This program encourages shopping locally and businesses must be a Chamber member to participate. It is a free program and offers yet another marketing opportunity for our members. Over $90,000 was spent in Batesville in 2005 due to the sale of gift certificates. Giving them for gifts or as employee incentives is a great way to promote shopping locally.
  • Commercial Insurance: Chamber members may take advantage of a program through Auto Owners Insurance to receive a 10% discount on commercial property and liability packages.
  • Member-to-Member Discounts: Chamber members can receive varying discounts at other Chamber members’ businesses. Enhanced Telecommunications gives a 5% discount on local telephone service to Chamber businesses.
  • Networking Opportunities: Visibility and networking is available through the monthly board meetings and Chamber events. Chamber After Hours provides an opportunity to meet and exchange information with fellow businesspeople, potential customers and community leaders.
  • Business Counseling: Individual counseling is offered to Chamber members through the Small Business Development Center in Madison.
  • Referral Service: The Chamber acts as a referral service to local businesses; however, we always refer Chamber members first and foremost. If the Chamber has referred your business, you will receive a postcard stating what type of request came into the office and that your business name and number were given out.
  • Greeters Program: This is another marketing opportunity for Chamber members. There is an additional cost to members of $15, but non-members pay $50. These bags are given out to new residents by Chamber greeters. New residents may also pick one up at the Chamber office. Participating business will receive a listing quarterly of residents who have received these bags.
  • Monthly Chamber Newsletter: The Chamber Chatter will be sent to you monthly, keeping you informed of current business issues, legislative updates, local events, Chamber member news and Chamber events.
  • Ribbon Cuttings & Grand Openings: The Chamber will provide a Grand Opening banner and ribbon, coordinate local publicity and gladly attend your event.
  • Legislative Information: As members of the Indiana State Chamber of Commerce and the US Chamber of Commerce, legislative updates and information are sent out in the monthly newsletter. If there is a legislative alert, emails are sent to members.
  • Marketing & Advertising Opportunities: Through sponsorship of Chamber events and activities, your business will gain name recognition, advertising, etc.
  • Seminars & Workshops: These programs, on marketing, customer service, sales and employment law, just to name a few, will be offered at a reduced rate to members throughout the year.
  • Bulk Mailings: If members are mailing a large number of pieces, they may take advantage of the Chamber’s bulk mailing permit. This large savings of money is available only to members. Mailing labels are available for a small fee.
  • Technology: Members have the use of the Chamber copier, fax and scanner.
  • Website: Members enjoy free email and website links from BatesvilleIN.Com. They may also advertise on the site, receive a free email address and a free web page through the site.
