Batesville Golden Citizens
Every Wednesday Evening Memorial Building. We are the Golden Citizens operating for over 40 years successfully. All senior citizens 55 years of age and older are welcome. We meet 1st, 3rd, 4th, Wednesday evening from 6 to 9 pm in the Memorial Building and the 1st and 4th Wednesday afternoon 1 to 4 pm. On the 2nd Wednesday evening we meet at the Heritage House on Mulberry Street. We honor special holidays with dinners and entertainment. Gary Wintz Travel Slide Show
Gary Wintz, native of Batesville, will offer a free Travel Slide Show at the Batesville Memorial Public Library from 6-7:30pm. Gary has traveled to over 200 countries and will share photos and stories from North Korea, Burma, Laos, and beyond. Author/editor Father Jack Wintz, OFM, will be available for book signings. Local student Kristen Giesting will share about her research trip in Bhutan.

Throw Paint Like Jackson Pollock - Non-Profit Event
This is a fun and different community event being held in Dowtown Batesville. Come out and support your favorite non-profit organizations as they paint for your votes. Each team will create a 30x40 canvas in Pollock style for use in fundraising. The community will be able to take part in adult and youth paint out, face painting, demonstrations by artists, community booths, and art with a twist event. Along with live music throughout the event. It all kicks off at 3:00pm.
